  A great way to spend 3 hours … you learn such a lot
An amazing 3 hours spent cooking, chopping, making and then eating Thai dishes under the expert and knowledgeable eye of Nuch. As well as teaching my husband and I lots of cooking skills, lovely Nuch imparted Thai culture through our cooking together. A great way to spend a few hours and I can thoroughly recommend it .

  Fantastic Thai Cookery class.
Fantastic cookery class. Nuch walked and talked us through the process and ingredients. Then she cooked and we tasted, and then we cooked and took ours home. Such a lovely way to spend a few hours with a friend. I would really recommend it.

  Amazing
What an amazing experience, Nuch is such a lovely person and an exceptional chef. Learnt so much and the food is unbelievable! Could bathe in the satay sauce to die for. Such a warm welcome, brought loads of food home, would highly recommend and can’t wait to try the dishes at home.

  Best Thai Cookery Course EVER
We had a brilliant time! Not only learning how to cook our favourite Thai dishes that were even more tasty with Nouk's guidance but also having a laugh. Nouk made the day - she is a patient, fun and truly lovely teacher. Also a gifted cook with lots of tips on how to make the dishes authentic and full of flavour.   Can't recommend this enough!!! Brilliant!
Bought this as a Christmas present for my partner - worth every penny it was brilliant! The time and preparation that Nuch puts in is incredible. There are so many choices of dishes to cook, and she was very flexible with tailoring our dishes as my partner enjoys a lot of spice whereas I can't take so much! It was so well organised- we prepped our dishes together, then watched Nuch cook hers with tasting after. We then cooked our own versions to take home - definitely go hungry there is so much food!! She is so calm, informative and great fun. I can't recommend this enough if you love Thai food - once the prep is done is so much easier than I thought and we're both looking forward to recreating our dishes.   Incredible food and learning Thai cooking
We went to the My Thai Kitchen cooking class as part of a Christmas gift. We learned to cook Pad Thai and Tom Kha Gai. The meals were incredible! Nuch is a fantastic teacher. We not only learned how to cook the meals but she went through where to source ingredients and made it all feasible to replicate at home in an authentic style. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are already planning to return to learn other recipes. Thank you so much Nuch!

  If you love Thai food do this course, it's amazing!
We enjoyed a private cooking experience for husband & myself - it was just what I'd hoped for to gain experience of cooking Thai food, what ingredients are used, how to prepare & cook. Amazing to see how genuine Thai dishes are made rather than just eating in a restaurant. We were given masses of dishes to take home, go hungry! Hosted in her kitchen Nuch is friendly and knowledgeable host and the definition of high quality over showy nonsense.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I bought this day as a present for my partner’s 70th birthday. He is difficult to buy for, but loves cooking and especially Thai food, so this was ideal.
The fun started when you had to pick the three dishes you wanted to cook. Nuck was brilliant, a lovely host/teacher. Nuck had prepared most of the basic ingredients, so for each dish we had a tray with dishes of salt, sugar, lime juice, oil etc, saving time for the interesting bits. We enjoyed making “money bags”, which my partner managed, even with his big fingers. We ate a dish that Nuck made and some bits of the stuff that we had made. There was, of course, loads to bring home.
The day has given us confidence to be more adventurous and to use at least some of the ingredients Nuck had put in front of us. An exciting array of ingredients. My  partner was moaning about a Thai meal we had recently because it didn’t have Pea Eggplants and Thai Eggplant in it.
We would thoroughly recommend this day to anyone.

Nuch is very organised and experienced. Her delicious took me right back to Thailand 🇹🇭 and now I can recreate it whenever I want at home.
Her knowledge of ingredients and where/ how to source them in the UK was also really useful. She was brilliant, I'm definitely going back but next time I'm doing a private lesson so I can get to cook even more recipes! 1000% recommend to anyone who is considering doing it.

Gift Voucher Questions & Answers

How does the gift voucher arrive?
Your voucher is emailed to you immediately after you buy. You can print it or forward it, or enter the recipient’s email address at checkout and it will go straight to them.

Can I buy a voucher at the last minute?
Yes. Because vouchers are emailed instantly, you can buy one on the day of a birthday, on Christmas Eve or even on Christmas morning and still have a gift to give.

How long is the voucher valid?
Cooking class gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so there is plenty of time to find a date that suits. Lessons can be booked for dates after the expiry date but contact Nuch as it will need to be done manually.

How does the recipient book their class?
For a group class, they choose a date on the calendar, add it to the basket and enter the voucher code at checkout. For a private class, they contact Nuch using the contact form or at nuch@mythaikitchen.co.uk, quoting the voucher code, to arrange a date and choose their dishes.

Should I choose a group or private class?
A group class is a relaxed, sociable session with up to six people, learning two classic Thai dishes. A private class lets the recipients choose their own dishes and date and enjoy Nuch’s personal tuition, which makes it a popular gift for couples, birthdays and anniversaries.

Can I buy a voucher for more than one person?
Yes. Group class vouchers can be bought for one to six people, and private class vouchers can be bought for up to six people.

Do they need any cooking experience?
None at all. Complete beginners and keen cooks are equally welcome, and Nuch tailors her teaching to each person.

Can you cater for vegetarians, vegans or allergies?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan dishes can be taught and allergies can be catered for. The recipient just needs to let Nuch know when they book.

Where are the classes held?
All classes take place at My Thai Kitchen, 2 Harcourt Hill, Redland, Bristol BS6 7RB. Guests regularly travel from across the South West and South Wales.

Can a gift voucher be refunded?
You can cancel a voucher for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order confirmation. After that vouchers cannot be refunded, but they remain valid for 12 months.
